• The Home’s environment will be of a welcoming and supportive nature, in which the residents may feel comfortable, relaxed and assured of concern for their welfare.

• The staff will endeavour to help the residents to maintain their independence and enable them to achieve realistic goals.

• The residents will be cared for in a dignified and respectful manner, by appropriately trained staff.

• Care will be carried out to meet individualised needs; these will be reassessed as required.

• The Home’s surroundings will allow for privacy and comfort, also if Health and Safety allow, will reflect the personal taste of the resident.
