Testimonials

Rev Duncan MacNeill

My impressions of Braeside House – Care Home for the Blind can be expressed in the single word 'CARE' written large as it is upon every feature of this uniquely remarkable place. Purpose built and designed with imaginative skill to provide first class facilities for the special requirements of the residents and administered by a splendid team of nurses and carers. Affording one to one individual attention to the circumstances and needs of each resident on a 24 hour basis. A weekly programme of activities encourages mutual friendship among the residents engendering a pervasive and tranquil yet stimulating atmosphere in the house. Always remember this; you are to think of this place now as your home is the reassuring welcome extended to each resident. It has memorably been said that caring is everything – and here it is in full and benevolent measure. Here we are its fortunate beneficiaries.

Mrs Ann Moncur

If you are not happy here you will not be happy anywhere. The staff from the top to the bottom are kindness itself.

Mrs Joyce Craig

Mrs Sylvia Butters
