Opened in 1999, Braeside House is an award winning purpose built Care Home for older people who are registered blind or visually impaired, operated by Royal Blind. Our knowledge, ability and expertise are based on our experience in providing services to visually impaired people over many years.

The aim of our staff at Braeside House is to keep the residents active both mentally and physically as much as possible. Our service is directly supervised by Registered Nurses supported by care and domestic staff over the full 24 hour period. The easily accessible garden areas include a roof top garden and a sensory garden providing a safe, relaxing environment for residents and visitors. A wide range of activities and entertainments are provided in-house and visits are arranged throughout the year to various places of interest.
