The ski club is run by Disability Snowsports UK and the pupils first attended at a free open day last year. Following this a couple of pupils have since started to attend the Disability Snowsports club in Braehead, Glasgow around once a month.

The young people were also away on a ski trip to Aviemore with DSUK in April which the young people thoroughly enjoyed. Lauraine McDonald from Forward Vision said “The instructors are lovely, very helpful and accommodating. The young people use a bi-ski for their lessons and the instructors have reported that one young person in particular is coming on leaps and bounds with his lessons.”

The staff and young people were also treated with a trip to The Enchanted Forest, a light and music show held in the forest surrounding Pitlochry every October. The young people went to this over two nights and really enjoyed the different lights and music.
