We are fortunate to have many clubs, and rotary and round table organisations that have supported Royal Blind over many years.
This support is both financial and practical in nature, with some clubs fundraising for us year-on-year and some participating in and organising fundraising events. Royal Blind is able to supply speakers to give presenations and talks on the work of The Royal Blind School, Braeside House and the Scottish Braille Press. The Ben Wyvis Dancers, led by Mrs Dorothy Gollan, grandmother of a former pupil of The Royal Blind School, together with friends and helpers have raised over £43,000 in aid of the school.
Harmony 21 have become The Royal Blind School's fundraising Choir. Over the past couple of years they have held successful concerts and participated at fundraising events for the charity.
West Lothian band The Eastwood have held a special fundraising night for Royal Blind raising £210.
