Royal Blind provides services for blind and visually impaired people
Our vision at Royal Blind is to make a significant contribution to building a community in which blind and partially sighted people, including those who also have other disabilities, are fully included and lead fulfilling lives. We work towards fulfilling this vision, empowering blind people to achieve their potential and a brighter future. Royal Blind operates four distinct services: The Royal Blind School, Forward Vision, Braeside House, and the Scottish Braille Press. Royal Blind has been operating for over 200 years. We never forget that this has only been possible because of the generous donations from trusts, companies and the general public worldwide and on the work of our many supporters which allow us to provide essential services for the education, care, training and employment of children and adults in the UK who are visually impaired. Together we light up lives.
