Support for Parents:
Barrie Nursery Playgroup

This playgroup takes place on Fridays during the school term from 9.30 am until 11.30 am. Parents and children of pre-nursery age 0-3 years with visual impairment are welcome to attend. It is run by the highly experienced staff of the nursery and includes activities such as play opportunities, communication, circle time, computer, light room and 1:1 sessions with staff. Parents are encouraged to have social time together while the children are involved in activities nearby.

The Friday group parents also run a Saturday morning fun session in the hydrotherapy pool at Canaan Campus. Attendance at this group is limited to the families who attend the playgroup with six being the maximum number.
