Committees
Local committees raise much needed funds that are an essential part of fundraising for Royal Blind.
As part of a committee, you'll work as a team to organise events and activities (from parties to quiz nights) and collections to help raise vital funds and increase awareness of our work with blind, visually impaired or multiply disabled people.
You'll probably need to give just a couple of hours a week, and your role can be flexible to suit your interests and skills. Most events and meetings happen in the evening or at weekends so you'll be able to fit your volunteering round your job or daytime activities.
We'll provide you with plenty of information about Royal Blind so you feel confident in representing us in your community. We'll also provide regular updates on how we're using the money you're raising.
If you would like to set up or join a committee please email Helen Forrest, telephone 0131 229 1456 or write to Helen Forrest, Royal Blind, PO Box 500, Gillespie Crescent, Edinburgh, EH10 4HZ.
Your support is most welcome and gratefully received.
