The Linburn Centre has won a Good Access Award from Disability West Lothian. The award, which was announced today, commends the centre on its accessibility and conveys the organisation’s commitment to supporting individuals who are affected by visual impairment.

The award winning centre, which has already been praised for its architectural design, provides facilities for ex-service men and women who are now blind or partially sighted.

The award will be presented to Centre Manager Rosie McLaughlin and Chief Executive Richard Hellewell next Wednesday by West Lothian’s Provost Tom Kerr.
