The Linburn Holiday Home
Situated in the picturesque village of Wilkieston in West Lothian, the Linburn Holiday Home is available to rent for all Scottish War Blinded members and their accompanying friends and family. It is perfect for those looking for a holiday but also ideal for members from further afield wishing to use the Linburn centre on a short term basis.
Additional Information:
There are 3 bedrooms upstairs, encompassing 1 double room and 2 single rooms. Downstairs there is a spacious lounge and a fully equipped kitchen. There is a bathroom downstairs that features a bath and over bath shower. There is no stair-lift.
The house is fully furnished and all linen such as towels and bed sheets is included. There are gardens to the front and back of the house and pets can accompany their owners by prior arrangement.
Members can rent the holiday home for £100 per week. It operates on a self-catering basis however lunch at The Linburn Centre can be included by prior arrangement.
The kitchen benefits from all modern appliances including a cooker, microwave, kettle and toaster whilst the lounge features a flat screen television.
What to see and do
There is a regular bus service to Wilkieston and the surrounding area which stops near the house. The countryside around the house is perfect for walking and provides a peaceful escape from the city. Golfers can make use of nearby golf courses whilst the house is also only 15 minutes away from Livingston which boasts a large designer outlet perfect for shopping.
The Linburn Centre
Members can attend daily or up to five days a week and staff at the centre provide a person-centered service in a respectful environment. There are a wide range of leisure and social activities available at the centre including arts, crafts, a gym and IT classes. It offers a community in which individuals have the opportunity to meet like-minded people with similar experiences.

The Linburn Holiday Home is situated on the A71 between Edinburgh and Livingston. On street parking is available.
