Royal Blind is Scotland's largest visual impairment organisation. We care for, educate and employ blind and partially sighted people from across the UK. We are a registered Scottish charity SC017167.
Royal Blind is a service provider and the funds that we raise are spent directly on caring for, educating and empowering visually impaired people.
We support people of all ages - from babies and toddlers at our pre-school playgroup, children at our school and after school club, young adults through our supported accommodation and respite care, and older people in our care home.
We run the Scottish Braille Press, which produces books and magazines in Braille and transcribes any document for individuals and businesses into Braille, Large Print or Audio format.
Royal Blind and Scottish War Blinded are building a new care home and day centre for visually impaired veterans in Paisley. Find out more about our Paisley project.
