A History of Braille and the Scottish Braille Press

'A History of Braille and the Scottish Braille Press' tells the story of how braille and alternative formats have evolved since the invention of embossed printing in the 18th century.

Produced to commemorate 125 years of the Scottish Braille Press in 2016, the book explores the growth of the Scottish Braille Press from its foundation as a printing department at the Royal Blind School through to a leading provider of high quality alternative formats in the UK.

Royal Blind is offering this publication for free, but a suggested donation of £3 to the charity would be gratefully received.

To request your copy please fill in the enquiry form below. 'A History of Braille and the Scottish Braille Press' is also available in alternative formats.
