The Royal Blind School, Kidscene and our Scottish War Blinded centres remain closed for the rest of this week. Royal Blind's head office is also closed and staff are working from home. 

The Scottish War Blinded Linburn Centre will also be closed on Monday 5 March.

Jim joined the Press aged just 17 after graduating from the Royal Blind School.
