Kidscene Summer Holiday Club

It’s time to announce the Kidscene Summer Holiday Club for 2014!

Kidscene is a Royal Blind service which provides after school and holiday care to children with and without disabilities. We are based in Morningside, Edinburgh at the Canaan Lane Campus, and we offer an integrated environment and a fantastic range of activities and facilities for your children.

Kidscene Summer Holiday Club 2014This summer, the Kidscene Holiday Club is open for six weeks, from 30 June to 7 August. Here are the weekly dates and themes!

Week 1: Around the World
Monday 30 June – 4 July will be Around the World week! Activities include swimming, a school trip, and football coaching.

Week 2: Senses
Monday 7 ­– Friday 11 July we will celebrate the senses with a trip on Tuesday, swimming on Tuesday and Wednesday, dancing on Friday and a senses challenge!

Week 3: Summer
Monday 14 – Friday 18 July is when the summer really gets started! We’ll be swimming, taking a trip to the beach, and making sand art.

Week 4: Commonwealth Games
Monday 21 –  Friday 25 July is going to be a sporty week, with lots more swimming, a special trip, and a session with a sports facilitator.

Week 5: All the Fun of the Fair
Monday 28 July – 1 August will be a week for getting creative! We’ll be enjoying a Mad Hatter Tea Party, face painting, and circus fun.

Week 6: Madness and Mayhem
Monday 4 – Thursday 7 August we’ll be sending summer out with a bang, with a trip to the trampoline centre, swimming, and an extra special Topsy Turvy Day. Intrigued? So are we! Please note: we will close on 8 August - this is a Friday.

During this time, Kidscene is open from 8:30 to 5:30. A full day costs £21. Half day sessions cost £12 and are split into 2 sessions: mornings from 8:30 to 13:00 and afternoons from 13:00-17:30.
