Rabbie’s Girls Comes To Town!

Posted: 07/08/2013 |

Royal Blind’s much-loved event ‘Rabbie’s Girls’ is a unique and hugely entertaining Burns Night, just for ladies. It’s the perfect way to shake off the January Blues and help raise funds for a fantastic Scottish charity.

Rabbie’s Girls is taking place at the Balmoral Hotel in Edinburgh on Friday 31st January 2014 and is being hosted by the hilarious comedienne Jo Caulfield (star of TV’s ‘Mock The Week’ and ‘Never Mind the Buzzcocks’).

On the night, our guests will be treated to a glamorous champagne drinks reception with Loch Fyne oysters, before sitting down to a sumptuous 4-course meal. We’ll provide complimentary wine and the luxurious surroundings of the Balmoral Hotel. All of our lovely guests will be spoiled with a fabulous Goody bag, and we invite you to take part in a special balloon raffle where everyone is a winner!

In traditional Burns Night style, there will be speeches to celebrate the poetry of Robert Burns (with a special feminine twist), along with our very own Piper, who will pipe in our haggis to commence the celebrations! We will also invite you to participate in our special auction, with a range of fantastic auction items to be revealed on the night.

Money raised at Rabbie’s Girls will fund the vital services we provide for the Royal Blind School, Forward Vision, Braeside House, Scottish Braille Press and Kidscene – supporting people of all ages with a visual impairment and disabilities. So by joining in the fun you can help us improve lives and at the same time have a truly fantastic night.

Please note: our fantastic Early Bird Offer (£69 per person or £690 for a table of 10) comes to a close at the end of this month on 31st August, so book now to avoid disappointment!

If you are interested in attending, contact Gemma on 0131 229 1456 or gemma.gillespie@royalblind.org for more information, or you can visit Royal Blind’s online shop to book your ticket now.

We would love you to join us for this unique night of fun, glitz and haggis – so don’t miss out!
