Royal Blind announce Charity of the Year Partnership with The Raj on the shore!

Royal Blind are pleased to announce that celebrity chef Tommy Miah and his Edinburgh restaurant, The Raj on the Shore, have chosen Royal Blind as their Charity of the year.

To celebrate this new partnership we will be holding a very special event on Thursday 9th August at The Raj on the shore. Combining the culinary expertise of The Raj with the initiative charity events of Royal Blind this event promises a Sense – ational evening.

Dining in the Dark offers you a unique opportunity to discover some of the many unforeseen difficulties encountered by blind and visually impaired people when sitting down for a meal or visiting a restaurant.

The evening will be held at the beautiful Raj on the shore, Leith, where guests will be welcomed by celebrity chef and restaurateur Tommy Miah and Royal Blind. Once seated this will be your chance to dine in the dark by eating blindfolded, heightening new sensations and emotions. (Blindfold not compulsory)

The event includes a wonderful 3 course meal created by Tommy Miah, comprising of his delicious signature dishes, special charity raffle and auction.
