Touch Our World: Leaving a Lasting Legacy for Future Generations

Posted: 10/06/2014 |

Did you know that by remembering Royal Blind in your will you can support our work and leave a lasting legacy for future generations?

Your will is one of the most important documents you will ever write. Looking beyond your lifetime, your first priority while writing a will is to provide for your loved ones. Once you have provided for your family, you can continue to make a difference and reflect your values by giving continued support to your favourite charity or charities.

Why leave a legacy to Royal Blind?

1. Because it’s a dynamic charity that is constantly developing

We rely on the kindness of others to do our work providing services for blind and partially sighted people of all ages, from pre-school to over 100 years of age. These services cost £1,445 every hour of every day.

2. Because of people like Kirsty and Harry

These services help people like Kirsty, 15, who goes to Kidscene on a Friday afternoon, and Harry, who is a week boarder at the Royal Blind School.

3. Because your legacy would be helping a remarkable vision

As well as looking after your loved ones, you can also help in the future by leaving a gift in your will to Royal Blind. A gift in your will, no matter the size, will help us continue to provide excellent care for visually impaired people and to create new services that respond to the changing needs and challenges of society. These funds go towards supporting all our activities, resources and services. However big or small, a gift in your will to Royal Blind will be invaluable.

Request your Touch Our World brochure today to meet Kirsty and Harry and learn more about Royal Blind’s services and vision. The brochure also has a step-by-step guide to leaving a legacy in your will, whether you have an existing will or are writing a new one.

In our brochure you can also make a confidential pledge to Royal Blind which states that you have, or intend to, leave a legacy in your will to Touch Our World.
