We currently support more veterans than ever before in our history, and the numbers benefiting from our support continues to rise, as more people become aware of the range of people who are eligible for our support.

In order to meet the needs of our expanding membership, we will be developing our services over the coming years. As part of this, it is vital that we develop our services with the views of veterans who currently access our services at the forefront of our minds.

This year we asked our membership to complete a detailed survey with the intention of finding our which of our services they found most useful, and why.

We asked veterans’ questions on the effectiveness of our team, and how their assistance had made most of an impact. The results were illuminating, particularly as many responded by identifying most eloquently in particular what services and support had made a difference to them.

The responses on how we can grow and offer enhanced support, will enable us to develop our services in the knowledge that we are responsive to the views and concerns of visually impaired veterans in Scotland.

This infographic highlights the key themes of the survey responses.  A full report is available upon request by calling 0800 035 6409 or by emailing enquiries@scottishwarblinded.org
