Guide Visually Impaired Veterans to us at 2015 Vision Zone Roadshow Events

Posted: 24/08/2015 | Scottish War Blinded

Scottish War Blinded will exhibit at Vision Zone events in Glasgow, Ayr and Melrose later this week to raise awareness of the services the charity provides and to encourage those who know visually impaired veterans in the community to come forward.

Vision Zone events provide an opportunity for visually impaired people to learn about the latest developments in assistive technology such as low vision aids, video magnifiers and audio text readers as well as local support services and networks.

Scottish War Blinded’s information stand will assist with membership inquiries and promote the Linburn Centre and Outreach services the charity provides.

If you know any former member of the Armed Forces, National Service, Territorial Army or Queen Alexandria Nursing Corps, living with significant sight loss incurred in service or in subsequent later life, please visit our stand and guide them to us.
