Members Reach for New Horizons at the Edinburgh International Climbing Arena

Scottish War Blinded members are now enjoying the adrenaline fuelled thrills of rock climbing at the Edinburgh International Climbing Arena in West Lothian.

“It was fabulous, I had a great time and have already booked in for the next session in June. I had visited Ratho Climbing Centre on many occasions as a coach driver taking groups to sessions and never thought one day that I would be scaling the walls”

Climbing sessions develops cardiovascular endurance, flexibility and muscle strength as well as providing a unique social experience. There are various climbing routes for all levels including overhangs, lead-climbing and top-roping walls.
