We offer our sincere thanks to The Scottish Association of Meat Wholesalers for their generous donation of £2,500 in support of Scottish War Blinded. Outreach Worker Marjory Kirkwood accepted the cheque on behalf of Scottish War Blinded.

Scottish Association of Meat Wholesalers Raise Funds in Support of Scottish War BlindedThe Scottish Association of Meat Wholesalers represents the red meat industry in Scotland, working closely with other industry bodies and government to maintain the highest possible standards of public health, hygiene and welfare in the production and processing of top quality end products in which consumers can have complete trust.

Scottish Association of Meat Wholesalers President Alan McNaughton said:

"The presentation was drawn from funds raised during a charity auction at the Association’s 2014 conference and dinner. The charity auction is a long-standing feature of our annual dinner, with members and guests coming together to enable us to make a contribution to the important work being carried out by Scottish War Blinded. We applaud your work on behalf of so many people and are delighted to be able to contribute a little to help you advance your programme of services and support."

Funds were also presented to the charities Sarcoma UK and Alzheimer’s Scotland at the event.

We extend our thanks, once again, for the generosity of the Scottish Association of Meat Wholesalers.
