Scottish War Blinded's centenary book is now available in MP3 audio format which has been delivered in partnership with Media Education Ltd. The audio file can either be downloaded online or uploaded onto memory stick for use with specialist visual impairment equipment.

Scottish War Blinded's centenary book in printed format has received high praise since its launch in December 2015 and many members have keenly anticipated its release in MP3 format.

Scottish War Blinded member Archie Stewart said:

"I am really looking forward to listening to the audio version and learning about the history of Scottish War Blinded. I am fortunate to have a boom box at home and its such a simple process of putting audio files onto memory stick which makes so many titles accessible for blind and partially sighted people."

The audio version is narrated by Media Education's Iain Shaw and Scottish War Blinded's Gary Seath has provided the voice for the wide range of quotes from annual reports and members, both past and present, which are used in the book as a guide throughout Scottish War Blinded's first one hundred years of supporting visually impaired veterans in Scotland.

The audio version can be downloaded here which will direct you to Scottish War Blinded's Soundcloud page. Alternatively, please call Gary Seath on 0131 229 1456 to organise the upload of the audio file onto memory stick.
