The Forward Vision Christmas Music Video

Posted: 18/12/2014 | Adult Services

Forget Slade, Wham and those tired old yuletide tracks. This year, Forward Vision's young adults have made their very own Christmas musical classic - and it needs your votes!

The regular music workshop was given a tinsel makeover last week, with singer Amanda Roberts leading the crew in a unique rendition of 'Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas' - complete with switches and seasonal sleighbells.

The video below captures some moving moments from the workshop, with the lovely vocals of Amanda accompanied by some lively percussion from Michael Martin, Christopher Donovan, Alex Harpin and friends at Forward Vision. Music teacher Karl MacRae backs them up on the keyboards. The video doesn't show the rather rowdy rendition of Rudolf the Red Nosed Reindeer which finished the afternoon on a more noisy note!

The video of the workshop is being entered into the UK wide competition, 'Care Home Idol', which promotes and celebrates all forms of musical entertainment in supported accommodation and care homes.

To help the gang at Forward Vision become the 'Care Home Idols' of 2014, please vote for the video at the following website: The closing date for the competition is January 15th, so spread the word!

In the meantime, have yourself a merry little Christmas from everyone at Forward Vision!
