Royal Blind School pupil Anthony has been invited to play in an orchestra as part of the Cultural Olympics, which takes place on the 15 July this year. The concert takes place just a couple of weeks before the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games.

January blues bringing you down? Shake them off with a ticket to the most glamorous Burns Night in town!

Rabbie’s Girls 2012 will be held on the 27th January at the George Hotel in Edinburgh and provides ladies with the chance to enjoy a traditional Burns Night- but with a twist.

There are only a couple of tables remaining so make sure you don’t miss out. Get a crowd together and purchase a table for £690, or alternatively get a few of the girls along for just £69 each.

Planning to Keep Fit this Year? Run for Royal Blind in the Edinburgh Marathon!

The Edinburgh Marathon Festival takes place on Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th May 2012.

There is an option to take part in the full 26.6 mile marathon, 13.1 mile half marathon, the10k run or the 5k run, all whilst raising money for Royal Blind.

All sponsorship money you raise will go towards providing services to blind and visually impaired children, adults and the elderly and will make a huge difference to the lives of others.
