Doran Review

On 15 November the Scottish Government published the report produced by the Doran Review.  The review is important to the future of the education of children and young people with complex needs, and therefore important to the future of the Royal Blind School and its place in Scotland’s educational system.

Pupils Earn Medals in the 35th Junior Swimming Championships!

Pupils Earn Medals in the 35th Junior Swimming Championships!

Pupils from the Royal Blind School competed in the 35th Junior Swimming Championships for sensory impaired and physically disabled swimmers last Wednesday (7th November) at the Grangemouth Sports Complex. The Championships are organised by Scottish Disabilities Sport.

Myles Fleming, John McKee, Damon Horne and Christina Tytler represented the Royal Blind School and achieved excellent performances, with every student earning a medal in at least one race! Their individual results have been included below:
