Happy Birthday Allermuir! Service celebrates successful first year

Staff and residents of Royal Blind’s home for vision impaired adults are celebrating the service’s first birthday.

Allermuir opened its doors to residents in August 2016 to provide a home for life for its four residents, following the success of its sister service for 17-25 year olds, Forward Vision.

St Mirren FC help Royal Blind reach fundraising goals in Paisley

St Mirren FC proved themselves to be winners both on and off the pitch, when they helped Royal Blind raise over £340 with a bucket collection at their home game against Falkirk FC last weekend.

The Care Inspectorate has praised the ‘positive and happy atmosphere’ of Royal Blind’s new residential service after its first ever inspection of the home.
