Kidscene October Holiday Club

Are you looking for childcare during the October holidays? Kidscene is a unique after school and holiday club that provides care for children of all school ages and any ability from all over Edinburgh.

Located at the Royal Blind School in Morningside, Edinburgh, Kidscene is a place where children can come and take part in a wide range of tailored activity’s in a caring, safe, stimulating environment.

The October holiday week is very soon and the Holiday Club is now inviting children to come along and join in the fun!

Pupils have been getting stuck in to trying out the LEGO braille prototype bricks specially sent to the Royal Blind school by the LEGO Foundation for our pupils to try. These pictures show Bo who has made a lego house oout of the whole box of braille lego, and Amy, Jay and Bo getting to grips with the bricks.

Royal Blind statement in response to media reports about RNIB

Text says Royal Blind statement

Royal Blind is saddened in relation to recent media reports about an inquiry into abuse at RNIB care services in Coventry.

We wish to clarify however that we are a completely separate organisation to the RNIB. Royal Blind is Scotland’s largest visual impairment charity. We provide services in Scotland only. Our care services are consistently graded Good and Very Good by the Care Inspectorate.
