Who the Centre is for:
Ex-servicemen and women with sight loss. This includes veterans of:
- Regular Army, Royal Navy, Royal Air Forces
- National Service
- Territorial Army
- Merchant Navy
People who have served don't need to be registered blind to be eligible for centre attendance.
People who visit us say the centre has changed their life.
How we help:
The centre's practical and emotional support equips veterans with the tools needed to be as independent as possible.
A wide range of social activities is on offer.
The centre is free of any charges for anyone who has been in the forces, and who is now struggling with sight loss.
Weekly visits with door to door transport can be provided
