Scottish War Blinded provides free help and support to veterans of the armed forces in Scotland who have a serious visual impairment, no matter when or how sight loss has occurred.
We expand our members' horizons with a range of social events and activities which promote positive well-being and independence. Veterans across Scotland can become part of our active community and receive practical support through our outreach services.
You might be a healthcare professional, friend or family member. Can you guide someone you know to us?
Do you know a veteran like Morton who could benefit from practical support in adapting to sight loss? Whether completely blind or with some useful vision, we help veterans get more from life.
Derek has enjoyed a new lease of life as a Scottish War Blinded member, experiencing a wide range of activities and social opportunities. We give members the chance to learn and develop new skills.
We offer veterans the practical help needed to regain their independence. If you work with people with sight loss, please ask if they have served in the Armed Forces or completed National Service.
