Leading Scottish artist Peter Howson has generously donated a painting to the charity Royal Blind to raise funds and awareness for blind and visually impaired people.

The artist, who was appointed official British war artist during the war in Bosnia in 1993, has donated a painting worth £1,500 to the Scottish charity, which will be sold at an art exhibition as part of Royal Blind’s fundraising week later this month.

The donated painting, Judith, is perfectly in line with the overall theme of Royal Blind’s art exhibition.

Popular Scottish artist John Lowrie Morrison –affectionately known as Jolomo – has kindly donated a painting to raise funds to support blind and visually impaired people.

Jolomo, who has become synonymous with Scottish landscape painting, has donated a work of art worth £2,000 to Scottish charity Royal Blind, which will be sold at an art exhibition during the charity’s fundraising week later this month.
