Royal Blind and Scottish War Blinded are currently building two new services in Paisley, which will open in October 2017. Around 150 jobs will be created between the two services:

  • Royal Blind's care home for visually impaired older people, Jenny's Well
  • The Scottish War Blinded Hawkhead Centre, providing support and activities for veterans with sight loss.

Information Day - Saturday 3 June

On Saturday 3 June from 11am-6pm we will be holding an Information Day in Paisley Town Hall, Abbey Close, Paisley PA1 1JF.

It is a drop in day, so come along at any time between 11am and 6pm. 

The day will be an opportunity to find out about the exciting new services we will be offering in Paisley and the roles that we will be recruiting for leading up to their opening.

Staff from Royal Blind and Scottish War Blinded will be on hand to provide further information about the roles that we have available and to answer any questions. Some job descriptions will be available on the day.

Please note that no applications or CVs will be taken at our Information Day, nor will any interviews be conducted. The day is purely to provide information about the new services and the role opportunities we will have available. We will also have information for people who may wish to use the services and their families.

Speculative applications and CVs will not be accepted. Job applications must be completed on the Royal Blind application form in response to an advertised position.
