Get Fit with Scottish War Blinded

The local community of Wilkieston is invited to get fit in time for Christmas and try out Scottish War Blinded’s gymnasium facilities at Centenary Hall this month.

Visitors will have an opportunity to speak to our highly qualified gymnasium staff who welcome everyone, from absolute beginners to the more experienced. Our staff will assess current fitness levels and devise individual training plans using a wide range of cardio vascular and strength building equipment.

Scottish War Blinded members from across Scotland attended our Members' Gathering event in Glasgow earlier this month to have their say in the development of the charity's services. The event also provided members an opportunity to forge new friendships, share member experiences and enjoy a variety of guest presentations.

Children and adults across Royal Blind Group services have joined forces to make a video celebrating music in honour of National Braille Week. 

Royal Blind School students and staff, Forward Vision members and members of Scottish War Blinded's Linburn Centre star in Thank You for the Music - a cover of the Abba hit.
