Scottish War Blinded record impressive victory at Blacklands Bowling Club

Scottish War Blinded members recorded an impressive 23-6 victory at Blacklands Bowling Club on Wednesday 27 July 2016.

Scottish War Blinded was represented on the day by members Ian Graham, Peter Ramsay and David Thomas, who was part of the successful Scottish 2012 silver medal paralympic bowling team.

Scottish War Blinded members participate in inaugural archery session at Linburn's Centenary Hall

It was a historic day at Linburn’s Centenary Hall this morning where the first arrows were flown by Scottish War Blinded members.

Scottish War Blinded members Derek MacDonald (pictured left) and Jocky Elliot (pictured right) participated in today’s inaugural session who are preparing for an archery tournament against fellow visually impaired veterans in Brighton later this month.

Scottish War Blinded's 2016 Blind Bowling Tour

Scottish War Blinded members will begin their 2016 blind bowling tour at Blacklands Bowling Club in Kilwinning on Wednesday 27 July 2016.

Following a highly successful centenary blind bowling tour in 2015, Scottish War Blinded members will once again visit sighted bowling clubs to compete in a series of matches using the blind bowling system.
