How We Support

Our practical, emotional and financial support equips veterans with the tools to be as independent as possible.

Our focus is on supporting people to achieve what’s right for them, rather than expecting everyone’s solutions to look the same.

We can help ex- service men and women to learn new skills to adapt to sight loss. Our support for them and their families is free and lifelong.

Our locally based outreach workers are the initial point of contact for each veteran that we support and their families.

They work with each individual to identify what types of support would be beneficial to them, enabling veterans to overcome the challenges of sight loss.

Our support includes:

Support is available at veterans' home, locally and at our centres in West Lothian and in Renfrewshire.
