The Royal Blind Group, which consists of Royal Blind and Scottish War Blinded, promotes inclusion and empowerment of people with visual impairments. We strive to promote equality throughout our service delivery, staffing, management and governance.
The establishment of Specific Duties under the Equalities Act 2010 (Specific Duties) (Scotland) Regulations provides a framework for setting and monitoring our aspirations for the continual improvement of our performance in attaining equality in our employment practice.
Under this Act, the Royal Blind School is obliged to publish an Equalities Report every two years. As the Royal Blind School operates as part of the national charity Royal Blind, our report covers both the school and the whole organisation.
