Royal Blind, Scotland’s largest vision impairment charity, is looking for a Senior Care Assistant to join Braeside House, our care home for older people with a vision impairment in Edinburgh.

 

The Senior Care Assistant will support the Registered Nurses to supervise the delivery of high standards of relationship centred care. The care provided will be outcome focused and promote dignity, privacy, independence and choice for the residents in a supportive environment.

Head of Fundraising

Royal Blind, Scotland’s largest vision impairment charity, is looking for a Staff Nurse to join Braeside House, our care home in Edinburgh for older people with a vision impairment.

 

The Staff Nurse will be responsible for leading and delivering relationship centred care to vision impaired residents within Braeside House under the direction of the Charge Nurse. The post holder will be a crucial influence on staff to ensure that standards of care are set and maintained.

An opportunity has arisen for experienced and qualified Play Workers to join Kidscene on a fixed term basis. We have either a 6 month or 12 month contract available.  Kidscene is an after school and holiday club welcoming children with and without disabilities in an integrated environment in the Morningside area of Edinburgh.

 

Applicants should have a relevant SVQ Level 2 qualification or above, preferably in Play Work, and have experience of working with 4 – 18 year olds in a play environment.
